Investment Opportunities

In order to meet the ongoing operational costs of NZi3, the following investment opportunities are available to interested investors:

Research $ 10,000 - $1,000,000

Research can be supported at varying levels of sponsorship:

  1. Directing a major research stream
  2. Project-based research partnership
  3. Co-location of research activities
  4. Secondments from companies to the University
  5. Member of research consortium.

Naming Rights $100,000 to $5,000,000

Limited time agreements for the naming rights of the building, laboratories. or classrooms ($100,000 or more depending on room allocation).

Postgraduate Scholarships $30,000

These scholarships will include internships of scholarship recipients as part of the regulations.

Sponsorship of academic positions $70,000 - $150,000

Provide support for fixed term agreements for key staff eg: Director of UCi3, Research Theme Leaders and Professional Chairs.

In-kind Donations

Donations of equipment, software, services, consultancies etc will be gratefully accepted.

Endowed Chairs ($1,000,000 suggested)

Senior academic positions can also be supported by the interest from an endowment fund.
